Polyester grease trap is used in industrial and catering facilities from which fats and oils of vegetable or animal origin can leak into environment. Their use is mandatory in large kitchens, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, public kitchens, slaughterhouses, meat processing plants, etc.

Grease trap meets the requirements of standards EN 1825-1 and DIN 4040-1.

Wastewater from the grease trap contains no more than 20 mg / l of fat.

Wastewater which flows into the sewers  from kitchen and other facilities for food preparation are being led in grease trap, where water flow slows down.

Sludge is being separated at the bottom of sedimentation tank, and on the surface of the grease trap, fat is being collected. Size of grease trap is determined depending on the highest possible flow of polluted water, the type of pollution, temperature, use of detergents and other factors set by standards EN 1825-2 and DIN 4040-2.

Output parameters of the grease traps correspond to:

Regulation of conditions of wastewater discharge into surface water and the public sewerage system (“Službeni list FBiH”, br. 04/12),

The Ordinance on conditions for discharging wastewater into surface waters (“Službeni glasnik RS”, br. 44/01),

The Ordinance on conditions for discharging wastewater into public sewers (“Službeni glasnik RS”, br. 44/01).

Characteristics of grease traps are:

  • product made in Bosina and Herzegovina,
  • made of reinforced polyester,
  • lesser weight for easier installation,
  • long lifetime of use,
  • the possibility of installation in floodplain areas,
  • homogeneous wall structure,
  • watertightness,
  • excellent price-quality ratio,
  • excellent chemical resistance,
  • high static load capacity,
  • suitable for installation in impassable and transport surfaces without additional concreting,
  • device is buried in ground which means that there is no influence of outside temperature (summer – winter).
