Usage:
Gravity oil skimmer prevents oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, heating oil and other substances to leak in the natural environment. These substances have a specific weight less than water, which is used as a principle of oil skimmer functioning. Gravity oil skimmer is used in sewage in minor traffic surfaces. As a rule, that purified water is being merged to larger wastewater treatment plant. Oil skimmer conforms to the standard DIN 1999, part 1, 2 and 3.

Operation:
Water contaminated with light liquids is retained in the oil skimmer for a while. Due to the lower specific weight, oil droplets are raised to the surface. Purified water flows through the drain from the oil skimmer. When the oil skimmer accumulates border limit amount of light fluids, it must be pumped out through the inlet shaft.
Installation:
Gravity oil skimmer is buried in the ground. It can be installed on transit or non-transit areas. It must be installed in a place accessible for maintenance.
