Usage:
Oil skimmer prevents oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, heating oil and other substances from highway and carwash to leak in the natural environment. These substances have a lower specific weight than water, which is used as a principle of oil skimmer functioning. Using gravity and integrated coalescent filter it separates light liquids from water.

Operation:
When draining rainwater from the road, water in the oil skimmer flows in through overflow and retention pool. When rainfall is too large, too much water is diverted to the rainwater overflow. Retention pool retains the first wave of contaminated water and slowly takes it to the oil skimmer. Separated oil is collected on the surface, and the purified water is poured through a valve into the environment. In the case of a major oil spill relief valve closes the drain so to prevent oil from polluting the environment.
Installation:
Oil skimmer Aquareg AC separator is buried in the ground on transit or non-transit area. When draining rainwater from the road, in front of oil skimmer, there are integrated rainwater overflow and retention pool, which simultaneously serves as a sludge tank. Oil skimmer must be installed in a place that is accessible for maintenance. Surface taken into account is the amount of rain of 200 I/s ha.
