Usage:

SBR_REG is device for biological treatment of sanitary sewage from toilets, bathrooms, kitchen and similar sources of pollution in the home, office buildings, restaurants and bars. Purified water can then be transferred to filter or surface water. When designing the device it was assumed that the daily water consumption of water was 150 liters per person (average daily consumption of water in a single house in the EU is 120 to 150 liters of water per person).

Features:

  • Bosnian and Herzegovinian product,
  • Long lifespan,
  • Not sensitive to low and high temperatures,
  • High static load,
  • Long-term stability and low wear,
  • Excellent chemical resistance,
  • Wide product range,
  • Industrial production,
  • Easy maintenance,
  • Excellent price/quality ratio.

Operation:

Wastewater enters the mechanical part of the biological device, where larger particles are accumulated. The water then flows into the biological chamber, from which the purified water is transferred to filter or surface water. Biological devices operate on the principle that in the biological chamber activated sludge is kept in constant motion by mixing and aeration, which allows successful natural self-cleaning, so the melted and aqueous substances are converted into precipitated form. This is done by microorganisms that produce spray biomass. Wastewater must contain nutrients and have the appropriate temperature and oxygen level so that microorganisms could develop. These conditions allow the development of different groups of microorganisms, which take organic and partially mineral substances from the wastewater, and convert them to new microorganisms, creating particles of activated sludge, which are deposited in idle moments. This process, which is called “biological flocculation”, becomes possible only when it starts to reduce the intensity of the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, and when natural polymers which bridge gaps between microorganisms start to excrete. During the deposition process, water is getting clear and purified to the extent that it is possible to release it into watercourse in accordance with the regulations or seep into the ground. Biological device must be equipped with a venting system that allows removal of gases produced by fermentation. Vent channel with diameter of 110 mm must be mounted onto the discharge pipe, and carried out to the roof surface, or as far away from residential areas as possible.

Installation:

Biological device must be protected from freezing and from direct sunlight. Airflow in the ventilation pool should not be blocked or obstructed with anything. Biological devices are usually buried in the ground. Above the ground there is only part with the inlet openings. Lids of the inlets can be applied for transit or non-transit surfaces.
